By utilizing our ShareFile server, you can send and receive QuickBooks, PDF, and Excel files that are too large to e-mail. Additionally, you save time and money by transferring large files electronically rather than by dropping off the information to our office or delivery by UPS, FedEx, USPS or courier. Plus, it provides you with a 24/7 portal to access your tax returns.
With our ShareFile server, you can rest assured that your data is sent securely and in compliance with legal regulations regarding the privacy and security of confidential information. To protect against hacking and other intrusion attacks, our ShareFile server undergoes daily third-party security audits by ScanAlert.
All communications between our ShareFile server and you are encrypted using the Secure Socket Layer (SSL). This is the same functionality used by banks and popular e-commerce services such as Amazon.com for secure communication.
Once on our ShareFile server, files are encrypted with 128-bit keys and stored using a 32-character random filename with no file extensions. According to 2005 estimates by the Yankee Group, a 128-bit encryption key is so strong that it would take .25 sextillion years (a sextillion is one followed by twenty one zeros) to break in a brute force attack.
