Darren Neuschwander is a founding shareholder at Neuschwander, Faircloth & Hardy, P.C.  Darren specializes in tax planning and compliance for high net worth individuals, family business owners and executives. He has experience providing financial counsel to corporate executives, family business owners and other high net worth clients on income tax, estate and gift tax and retirement planning. Additionally, Darren has experience in partnership, S corporation, fiduciary and non-profit taxation.

Prior to forming Neuschwander, Faircloth and Hardy, P.C., Darren worked in the tax division of Arthur Andersen LLP's Birmingham office for approximately five years. He also worked for the Birmingham office of Warren, Averett, Kimbrough and Marino, LLC. 
Darren earned the degrees of Bachelor of Business Administration (Accountancy) graduating Cum Laude and Masters of Accountancy (Taxation) at Auburn University. Darren is a Certified Public Accountant licensed by Alabama and he has been granted the privilege to practice Public accountancy in California by the California Board of Accountancy.

Darren is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants (ASCPA), and the Estate Planning Council of Mobile, Inc.
Additionally, Darren is a member of the Federal Tax Committee of the Alabama Society of CPAs (currently serving as the chair of the committee), the Advisory Board of the Auburn University School of Accountancy and the Robertsdale Rotary Club (where he served as the 2009-2010 Club President).  Additionally, he serves on the Board of Directors of the Robertsdale Rotary Foundation, Inc.  He is also on the Board of the Robertsdale Rotary Club.

Darren is currently serving as the Rotary Assistant Governor for Area 6 of District 6880 for 2011-2012. 

He also served as a member of the Individual Income Taxation Technical Resource Panel of the AICPA from 2007 through 2010.

Darren is a member of Bethel Baptist Church and also serves as Church treasurer.  He and his wife, Jaime, have two sons Dalton (age 10) and Andrew (age 8). Their family resides in Silverhill.  He enjoys being in the outdoors (hunting and fishing) with his family and college football, particularly the Auburn Tigers.

Darren is frequently interviewed by and has appeared in the Wall Street Journal.
